Okay, the latest and greatest is we are trying desperately to get this all mixed and ready. I know, I know, it’s starting to feel like an Axel Rose record, huh? Well hang on a second. We have over half of it mixed and in the can, but having trouble with mixers schedules and getting everything we need. Just a little more, and you’ll have new music in its full glory. I don’t wanna send out this record half baked, but believe me, I want it out ASAP. I want it perfect, and I’m trying desperately to get it that way. Going out of my mind to do that, but hey, whataya do? Before long you’ll have new Fuel music and hopefully all will be forgiven. It’s been quite a process, but we’re all almost there. Working intently to make it all worth it. Carl.

Happy New Year! Hope you all rang in the new year safely and hope that ’07 is the best year ever for all of you. Personally I’m really looking forward to 007. It’s been a long time coming, but finally we are close to being able to launch what I hope to be our best record yet. Many in our camp who’ve heard it believe it could be. C’mon ’07! I know, I know … there’ve been a lot of changes and a lot of time, and blah, blah, blah, but ’07 brings a fresh start and a new beginning. And hey, there’s been a lot of time to write and select only the crème del la crème of all the songs. Is that how you say that? … I don’t know, but you get the point, right? ’07 will be interesting to say the least for Fuel. Can’t wait to get it all out there again and get back in the saddle. Hope you will join us for the ride. May ’07 bring all good things to all of us. Hope you have a great year. Carl.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone state side! We are off briefly for the holiday and are resuming mixing with Scott Humphrey as soon as we get back to wrap this one up. Everyone is stoked. Hey everyone. The record is coming along great. The label is freaking out and everyone else who has heard the work are over the top as well. That’s about all you can hope for I guess, right? Don’t wanna jinx anything, but it’s going great so far. Can’t wait for you all to hear it. Just trying to get everything perfect this time … including announcing the lead singer, which arguably we may not be doing right, but we hope to do in as big a way as possible with all the hype we can muster, so pardon us for not letting all our great fans in on the news just yet. I know! I know! We’re just trying to make the biggest splash we can at the most opportune time we can, ahight? Hope to really get all our ducks in a row. It’s killing us not to let all this out as well. Believe that! Anyway, hope you are all doing great out there. Okay, so we are slugging ahead here! Moments away from having all deals signed and made official (these things take a while sometimes … correction … these things take a while all the time!) and will be so glad when all the non-music issues, lawyers, documents, etc., stuff is out of the way! Real glad! We are close. Now we have been trying to get into a studio ASAP and are dealing with peoples schedules, producers, engineers and where to do it. All should be determined and sussed out relatively immediately. Sorry, the process just takes a while. Can’t wait to be posting from the studio very soon. Very soon, like a couple weeks from now! Well, I really wanna say that I’m glad there are people so passionate about the band that their opinions are so pointed regarding these crazy times. Your points are all taken, but just remember, you may not have all the necessary info to form that opinion so firmly. Wow! Thanks though. Regarding the new singer, we can’t make an announcement until it is totally and completely done … and even then, don’t know if we will. Gotta keep the suspense ya know and roll out the new guy with the single or the record! C’mon on! Believe me, we wanna shout it all out. I will say that he is about as perfect a candidate as we could have ever hoped to find, and we’ve recorded three demos that sound amazing. Really stoked! Working out the details with Sony and all and hope to get in the studio ASAP … maybe even this week. All will be revealed soon. Anyone feeling nostalgic, check out James’ post “Carl-time for a little feedback” with a great video to Untitled and some great footage. Nice job James and a very cool walk down the old memory lane. Fuel fans, we got some news! We got our guy … and this is gonna be real good! We’ve found our singer. We’ve been working with this guy for a while now and he’s great. Last month we recorded and submitted a three song demo and, in order to comply with the powers that be, have been waiting for approval while all this other chaos has been going on. Well … they love what they are hearing and seeing and are excited about what is happening and we are working on getting in the studio to cut the next Fuel record ASAP. I’ll keep you posted for more details as they come, but … hey … we are finally at the starting gates and ready to roll. Great singer, great songs, it all starting to happen! Stay tuned! Carl
